We look forward to helping you not only pass your cert but also learn for the long term. You will have access to many tools throughout your learning journey and this page should help you understand how to access everything you need.

Once you receive your login credentials, take some time and tour the LMS so you know how to access all of your study tools. Ready for your diagnostic exam? Set aside some time before your first live class and take the practice test. This will gauge your proficiency and guide your learning as you prepare for you exam.

Your course may include office hours or a private study session. These are for you and we encourage you to take advantage of them.

On-Demand FAQs

  • You will receive login credentials for the online portal – the learning management system, or LMS –  and your diagnostic exam within one business day if you have opted for an On-Demand course. The LMS houses many of the essential tools to help you succeed.  These electronic tools include your diagnostic exam, videos, quiz bank, performance tracker, practice exams, and more.

  • We use the address you provided during the registration process to send a package containing your textbooks, your lesson book, and other relevant materials that we refer to as the CyberVista Study Pack. This ships within one business day from the time of registration. You will receive an email containing a tracking number so that you can monitor your Study Pack in transit. We deliver via UPS Ground and USPS shipping.

  • The diagnostic exam is a 100-question online, multiple-choice practice test that will help you to uncover what you already know and where you should focus your efforts in order to perform well on your exam.  We use the results of your diagnostic exam to deliver you a personalized and efficient study plan for the duration of the course.  Please take this diagnostic in the week prior to your first live online class.

  • This student survey is a confidential questionnaire that we request you complete following your registration and prior to the start of your course. The student survey is used to help us personalize the program to suit your unique strengths and skills.  The survey itself covers general questions about yourself and your professional experience.

  • Yes. We give you the tools you need and make the learning manageable but you will still need to do the work. Think of us as your personal trainer guiding and encouraging you as you hit the gym.

  • You will have unlimited access to content-specific videos addressing all domains during your course for six months from the time of account creation. There are no time limits on daily use and you are able to review previously reviewed content at any time.

  • For certain courses such as our Security+ Video on Demand course, CyberVista hosts weekly Office Hours where you can jump into an online classroom with a CyberVista instructor and ask any burning questions. The details on the office hours for your course in particular are included within the Welcome Email that you received from the CyberVista Team.

  • Before moving to cancel your Certify course, please reach out to your TA, instructor, or CyberVista contact to see if there is anything we can do to address your needs and concerns. If you do decide not to move forward with completing your course, we have a cancellation and refund process in place:

    Please note sessions are defined as the occurrence of a live online classroom session, usage of online resources including the diagnostic, or proctored exams.

    • Cancellation within two business days, 100% fees are refunded (less shipping & handling fee).
    • Cancellation after two business days, there will be no refund.

    A refund will be processed after all student materials are returned to CyberVista.

  • If you purchased an exam voucher at the time of registration, then you will receive your voucher code from us via email within two weeks of registration. Please remember:

    • All vouchers are pre-paid.
    • Vouchers are non-refundable and non-returnable.
    • Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended.

    The exam must be taken before or on the expiration date printed on the voucher.

  • The Readiness Guarantee allows for a free course re-take if life gets in the way. If you don’t feel ready to take the exam or if you do not pass your exam, then you may re-take the course.

    Within your active course timeframe (six months from the time of purchase), email us at registration@cybervista.net if you are not ready to take the exam or if you have taken the exam and have not passed. We’ll extend your course (one-time) for an additional six months at no charge to you.

    In order to qualify, you must contact us prior to the expiration of your original course.

    2.  In order to qualify, you must contact us within 3 months of the end of your original course and you must select a start date within 12 months of your original purchase date.
